Direct messages and Notes

Direct messages are private: only the people in them can see them.

Start a conversation

1. Choose DMs in the rail, or + at the foot of the rail and then Message.
2. Search for someone by name or email, then choose Message beside them.
3. Type and press Enter.

The DMs page shows your recent conversations first, then everyone you can message, with whether they're Active or Away.

Message a group

Start a new message and add more than one person. A group conversation shows everyone's photos in the sidebar, such as Zac, Priya + 1.

Notes

Notes, at the top of Direct messages, is a conversation with yourself: drafts, links, a list for later. Harmony Agent is there too, so you can ask it to tidy, summarise or look something up.

Talk to Harmony Agent

Harmony Agent, under Direct messages, is a private conversation with the agent. Ask it anything about your workspace; only you see the answers. See Harmony Agent in rooms for asking it in a room.

Sync from a conversation

Choose the headphones in a conversation's header to start a Sync. In a direct message, the other person is rung straight away. See Starting and joining a Sync.
