Organization settings

Organization settings

Organization settings hold what is true for the whole organization: how it appears, where its data lives, the email domain it owns and the defaults every new workspace starts with. Workspace branding and preferences stay in each workspace's own settings.

Open organization settings

  1. Choose your organization in the switcher at the top of the left rail. Its hint reads Go to organization.
  2. In the sidebar, under Admin, choose Organization settings.

Only Global Admins can open the organization area. Anyone else who reaches the page sees "Only organization admins can change these settings."

Name and logo

Under Organization identity, the name and logo are how your organization appears in the switcher and on its dashboard.

  1. Choose Upload (or Replace) under Logo and pick an image. Square works best: PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 5 MB. Remove takes it off.
  2. Change the Display name if you need to. The organization needs a name, so it can't be left empty.

Changes save as you make them.

Data region

Data region shows where your organization's data is kept, for example US or EU. It was chosen during onboarding and can't be changed here. Every workspace in the organization keeps its data in that region.

Verify your email domain

Until your company's email domain is verified, anyone with an address there can start their own organization on Harmony. Once you verify it, new sign-ups from that domain come to your organization instead.

  1. Under Domain, choose Verify followed by your domain, for example Verify larkspurhealth.com.
  2. Copy the TXT record shown, using Copy TXT value, and add it at your DNS provider under the Host shown.
  3. Come back and choose Check now. DNS changes can take up to an hour to appear; if Harmony can't find the record yet, it says so, and you can check again later.
  4. When the check succeeds, the domain shows as verified, with Last checked and the date.

Only Global Admins can verify the domain. If another Harmony organization has already verified it and its record is still in DNS, Harmony tells you and your verification can't complete until that record is gone. A domain can also show Verified by a Global Admin email on a paid plan.

Regional defaults

Regional defaults set the Language, Currency and Timezone that new workspaces start with. They don't change existing workspaces, and your own app language stays in Profile → Language. See Workspaces to change a workspace's own settings.

FAQs

Can I move our data to another region? Not from this page. The data region is set during onboarding; contact support if you need to discuss a move.

Why can't I open Organization settings? Only Global Admins can. Ask one of them, or see Roles.

Does verifying our domain add people to the organization automatically? It sends new sign-ups from the domain to your organization. People who already have their own organization keep it.

Do regional defaults change existing workspaces? No. They apply to workspaces created afterwards.
