External files
External files bring documents from your connected apps into a wiki. Harmony copies the source's files in and indexes new ones automatically, so they are searchable and linked like anything you uploaded.
Add a source
- Connect the app first; see Connecting a connector.
- In the Company Wiki, choose External files in the sidebar.
- Under Available to connect, choose the app and Add to this wiki.
- Pick what to bring in. Harmony copies it and starts indexing.
Each wiki keeps its own sources. Only sources you add appear under Files.
Follow the copy
Each source under In this wiki shows:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Copy in progress / Copy finished | Harmony is copying, or has copied, the source's files |
| Indexing in progress / Indexing finished | The copied files are being made searchable |
| Last copied | When it last copied |
| Needs attention | Something stopped the copy; use Retry |
| Connection needs signing in again | Sign in to the app again with Reconnect |
Choose See files to jump to the copied files.
Remove a source
- Remove from this wiki deletes this wiki's copy. The files stay in the connected app.
- Disconnect removes the sign-in for every wiki.
