Workspace settings overview

Workspace settings overview

Business Summary: The Settings page groups profile, workspace identity, billing, and security in four tabs so admins and operators know where to look without hunting through workstreams.

You will learn what the Settings page contains, how tabs organize profile, workspace, billing, and security, and which areas are fully live vs planned.

Open Settings — described in the header as "Profile, workspace, usage, and security for your organization."

How this fits in Nimbus

Settings is the org administration surface for identity and spend — distinct from Governance (approval policies) and workstream configuration (HITL per goal).

Profile and Workspace tabs are live today. Usage & Billing is live with demo sample data in some workspaces. Security is a roadmap placeholder.

Scan all tabs once

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar under Admin.
  2. Start on Profile — confirm signed-in email.
  3. Switch to Workspace — note organization name and Workspace ID.
  4. Open Usage & Billing — review NTU chart and plan summary (sample data may appear in demo workspaces).
  5. Open Security — read roadmap placeholder so you know SSO is not self-serve yet.
  6. Bookmark Usage & Billing if you review spend weekly.

Tab layout

Profile

Your signed-in user — display name and email from live auth data. Use this to confirm which account is active on shared machines. See Profile and identity.

Workspace

Your organization context — organization name and workspace ID for the active tenant. Helpful when contacting support or comparing sandbox vs production. See Workspace details.

Usage & Billing

NTU usage, plan summary, usage chart, ledger, invoices, and payment methods. Demo workspaces may show sample billing data until live billing is enabled. See NTUs and billing.

Security

Placeholder for SSO, API keys, and session policies — not implemented yet. See Security settings.

Layout width

The Usage tab uses a slightly wider page layout to fit billing charts and tables. Other tabs use a standard width.

What settings do not include

Workstream HITL lives on workstream create/edit. Connectors live on Connectors in the sidebar. Governance policies live on Governance. Workstreams lives on Marketplace. Team roster admin is planned; onboarding invites work today.

Example scenario

A new workspace admin joins mid-pilot. She opens Settings, scans all four tabs in order: confirms her Profile email, copies the Workspace ID for a support ticket, reviews Usage & Billing against the pilot NTU cap, and notes Security is planned for SSO. She knows where org context lives before her first governance review meeting.

What you'll see
