Importing tasks

You can bring your existing tasks into Harmony from another tool, so the team works from one list.

Supported tools

Linear, Jira, GitHub, Asana, ClickUp, Trello and monday.com. Connect the tool first in Connectors; the dialog shows each source as Connected or Not connected, with Open Connectors to connect one.

Import tasks

1. On the Tasks page, choose Import.
2. Under Source, pick the tool.
3. For tools other than Linear, choose the Projects to import from.
4. Under Options, choose:
   • Updated since: only tasks changed since a date, or Any time;
   • At most: a cap on how many to import;
   • Include comments and Include archived issues.
5. Choose Start import.

The dialog shows progress: how many tasks were Created, Updated and Unchanged. You can choose Keep running in background and carry on working; you get Import finished. when it is done.

How statuses map

Imported tasks land in Harmony's statuses, such as Triage, Backlog, Todo, In progress, Done and Canceled, matched to the source tool's states.

FAQs

Can I import again later? Yes. Tasks already imported are updated rather than duplicated.

Can guests import? No. Guests can't import tasks.
