What works today

What works today

Business Summary: Use this page to know which Nimbus capabilities you can rely on in production today — and where to find workarounds when a screen is still rolling out.

Not every page in this knowledge base describes a fully live feature. This guide separates what you can use now from what is partial or planned, so you can get value without hitting dead ends.

How this fits in Nimbus

Think of capability maturity in three layers: fully live workflows you can run this week, partial screens that need workarounds, and planned vision documented for roadmap clarity.

Fully live — start here

These areas match the current product and are safe for your first week:

Area What you can do today Start here
Connectors Browse the catalogue, connect OAuth and API-key systems, manage connections Connecting a connector
Workstreams Find agents by domain, review mandates and connector requirements
Workstreams hub Create workstreams, scope goals, open workspaces Creating a workstream
Running agents Plan and Analyze runs, Confirm & run with NTU quotes, review outputs
Workstream approvals Configure HITL checkpoints, sign off at Needs you Checkpoints and approvals
Lifecycle Graph Network, tree, and wiki views — domain context, vaults, execution lineage, Perception queries Lifecycle Graph overview
Overview Ask Nimbus, stat pills, activity tables — queries Lifecycle Graph Using the Overview page

Partially available — works with caveats

These features have UI in the product but may show sample data or limited functionality while capabilities roll out:

Area What works What to expect Workaround
Governance page Layout and sample policy cards Org-wide policy data may be empty in live workspaces Configure approvals on workstreams; see Human-in-the-loop
Wiki file explorer Vault browser and connector links Full file explorer may be limited in some builds Add knowledge via connectors; see Adding knowledge
Usage & Billing Dashboard UI, charts, plan cards Demo workspaces may show sample numbers Treat invoices as authoritative when live; see Reading your usage dashboard
Overview sample data Full UI live Some workspaces show illustrative fixtures until org-wide APIs ship Use Perception and lifecycle graph for live queries

Planned — documented for vision, not production yet

Area Status Use instead
Entity profiles Planned Workstream pages and org member settings
Org-wide audit export Planned Audit & History page + approved Outputs

See the full Product roadmap for details.

Recommended first-week path

  1. Navigating the platform — sidebar map and daily operator loop
  2. Onboarding checklist — linear steps
  3. Connect a connector
  4. Create a workstream — scope one real business goal
  5. — review outputs and approve

Example scenario

Your team opens What works today before a pilot. They see connectors, workstreams, lifecycle graph, Process Board, and Audit are live. They scope a finance workstream, use @ to query CRM data in chat, run Plan mode, and trace approvals in Audit & History — without hitting dead-end routes.

FAQs {#faqs}

Q: Should I wait for Lifecycle Graph before using Nimbus? A: No. Most value comes from connectors, workstreams, agent runs, and approvals — all live today.

Q: Our billing dashboard shows demo data — is something wrong? A: Not necessarily. Demo workspaces use sample billing data until live billing is enabled. Contact your workspace admin for plan details.

Q: Where do I report a doc vs product mismatch? A: Share the page URL and what you expected with your Nimbus admin or support contact.

Q: Is the desktop app required? A: No for most flows, but some chat modes and Confirm & run experiences are richest in the Nimbus desktop app. See .

Q: Can we use Nimbus for production decisions today? A: Yes, when you use governed Plan runs, approvals, and workstream Activity for traceability — especially for finance and ops use cases with connectors connected.
