Setting up your organization
The first person from a company to sign up sets up its organization. Onboarding takes a few minutes and every step can be changed later in organization settings.
The steps
- Your profile: the display name teammates will see. A photo is optional.
- Your company website: enter your company's public website, such as
larkspurhealth.org. Harmony builds your company wiki from it in the background once you reach your workspace. - Data region: where your organization's data is hosted, the US (us-central1) or the
EU (europe-west1, for GDPR data residency). This choice is permanent.
- Invite your team: add colleagues by email, or skip and invite them later from settings.
- Summary: check your choices, then choose Confirm and set up workspace.
- Name your workspace and connect a system: confirm the name of your Global workspace, where
your company wiki and Commons live, and connect a first system if you like. Both can be skipped
and done later.
What you get
- An organization with you as its admin.
- A Global workspace holding your company wiki and Commons, the room everyone shares.
- Harmony Agent, ready in your direct messages and in every room.
