Connector settings

Connector settings

Each connector has a settings window showing its connected accounts and the tools Harmony Agent can use with it.

The Slack configuration window with Connected accounts and the list of tools

Open a connector's settings

  1. Open Connectors from the left rail.
  2. On the app's card, choose the settings button (the gear) next to the toggle.

The window is titled with the app's name, for example Slack configuration, and reads Connection status and available tools for this connector.

Connected accounts

Connected accounts lists each connection to the app in your workspace, with:

Field Meaning
App The account in the other app
User The person in Harmony who connected it
Workspace The workspace the connection belongs to
Connected When it was connected
Write approval Always ask (default) or Auto-approve writes

With no connection yet, it reads No active connected accounts for this connector.

Write approval

Always ask (default) shows an approval card before every write. Auto-approve writes lets the agent write through that connection without asking. Choosing Always allow → Allow app on an approval card sets the same thing. See Approving connector writes.

Tools

Tools lists everything the agent can do with the app, each with a short description, such as adding a reaction to a message or archiving a channel. The list is for reference; you don't pick tools yourself. The agent chooses the ones a request needs.

FAQs

Can I open the settings before connecting? Yes. You can see the app's tools before you connect; Connected accounts stays empty until someone connects.
