Asking Harmony Agent

Asking Harmony Agent

Harmony Agent answers questions, reads your connected systems and does work for you. You can talk to it on its own, or bring it into a conversation with your team without interrupting everyone else.

A workstream chat with the Agents side panel open beside the team's messages

Ask in a direct message

  1. In the sidebar, under Direct messages, choose Harmony Agent.
  2. Type your question or request and send it.

Harmony Agent works as you: it sees what you can see and uses your connectors.

Ask in a room or workstream

  1. In the room or workstream chat, type @Agent followed by your question, for example @Agent summarise this week's launch decisions.
  2. Send the message. The answer opens in a private side panel, so the room's conversation is not interrupted.

The composer reminds you of this: Message collaborators… (@ Agent to ask in a private side panel).

Attach agents to a chat

The Attach an agent menu in the chat header lists Harmony Agent and Your agents. You can attach any number of them at once; the button shows who is attached.

  1. Choose Attach an agent.
  2. Tick the agents you want in this chat. Attaching Harmony Agent opens its panel with the composer ready.
  3. To remove an agent, untick it.

An agent that cannot run right now shows why, such as Computer offline.

Give the agent data to work with

  • Choose Add connectors in the composer to bring a connected system into the conversation.
  • Attach files with the paperclip. See Attachments in chat.

Choose the model

In a direct message with Harmony Agent, the composer shows the model it will use (Auto by default). Which models you can pick depends on your team's settings. See Spend and models.
